Welcome to Lower Holker Parish Council
Lower Holker Parish
Council represents the residents of the communities of Cark,
Flookburgh, Holker, Ravenstown and the surrounding area in South
Cumbria. The
Council has seven members. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday
of each month at 7.00 pm, alternating between Flookburgh Village
Hall and Holker Village Hall. No meeting is held in August. An
Annual Parish Meeting is also held in April or May each year.
Members of the public are welcome to attend these meetings.
Two Noticeboards, one in Cark and one in Flookburgh, provide contact
details, meeting dates and other news.
The Parish Council publishes a report in the quarterly Local
Link and has a
Facebook Page.
