Welcome to Lower Holker Parish Council

Lower Holker Parish Council represents the residents of the communities of Cark, Flookburgh, Holker, Ravenstown and the surrounding area in South Cumbria.   The Council has seven members. Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at 7.00 pm, alternating between Flookburgh Village Hall and Holker Village Hall. No meeting is held in August. An Annual Parish Meeting is also held in April or May each year. Members of the public are welcome to attend these meetings.

Two Noticeboards, one in Cark and one in Flookburgh, provide contact details, meeting dates and other news.   The Parish Council publishes a monthly report n Grange Now and has a Facebook Page.

Physical meetings resumed in June 2021.  The number of members of the public who can attend is currently limited to six (6).  If you wish to attend a meeting please contact the Clerk in advance to reserve your place.
